Smalltown Revival was born as a musical and political dream.  The band could potentially involve as many or as few performers as were available, and help solve the seemingly endless revolving door of musicians and therefore band names.  Don Stenner had just moved on to other pursuits and the push was on to figure out alternative percussion methods.  It started with a plywood box kick and high- hat and a lot of determination.  Gill Whelan was a new member on violin and soon Yannick Robataille would join in on piano.  John and Dan were hard at work booking tours and plans began for the next album….
